Solomon Ge is a pianist and composer who currently studies at the Juilliard School with Robert McDonald. He has performed extensively across the United States and in Europe, with orchestras such as the South Carolina Philharmonic, Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, Minnesota Orchestra, Richardson Symphony Orchestra, and in collaboration with conductors Yaniv Dinur, Morihiko Nakahara, and Clay Couturiaux.
An avid chamber musician, he has spent his past two summers at the Marlboro Music Festival, and has been invited to perform in the 2026 Musicians from Marlboro Concert Tour, and to return for a third summer. Other festival experiences include the 2024 IMS Prussia Cove Seminar, in which he performed Schubert and Schoenberg in Cornwall, UK, and the Ravinia Steans Institute for Piano and Strings. These formative experiences have allowed him to work with and perform alongside musicians such as Lucy Fitz-Gibbon, Judith Serkin, and Sara Bitlloch, as well as members of the Juilliard and Borromeo String Quartets.
He frequently performs his own compositions in recitals, and has recorded his solo piano work, Threnody, for the Pinna Records label, with all proceeds from the release being donated to the Jed Foundation, an organization dedicated to supporting the mental well being of teenagers.
